PRODUCTION AND TERRITORY
Driving on the Alba-Barolo county road, towards Alba, the winery is located at about 1.5 km from Barolo and almost on a par with La Morra, it’s now characterized by contemporary and functional architecture.
The beautiful landscape of the Langhe area that surrounds it, is nowadays famous all over the world also thanks to its inclusion in the list of World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
The Damilano Winery can count on some of the best geographical mentions of the production area among the most suitable in Italy. The Barolos Cannubi, Brunate, Cerequio, Liste and Raviole are distinguished by a very different organoleptic spectrum, each resulting from the respective soil’s characteristics of its homeland, passing from the innate elegance of Cannubi, Brunate and Raviole to the more decisive character of Liste and Cerequio.
Barolo Lecinquevigne is the full representation of the characteristics of the Nebbiolo grape that knows how to express itself at its best with its facets.
There is not only Barolo among the excellences of the house. The new entry is G.D. that representing the elegance of our territory through its grape variety.
The line up is completed by: Langhe Doc Nebbiolo Marghe, velvety and harmonic; Barbera d’Alba Doc LaBlù, chewy and versatile; Barbera d’Asti Docg, juicy with a long finish; Dolcetto d’Alba Doc pleasing and fragrant; Langhe Doc Arneis, elegant and engaging; Langhe Doc Rosato, soft and balanced; Moscato d’Asti Docg, aromatic and dainty; Barolo Chinato, aperitif and digestive; Grappa di Barolo invecchiata, broad and mouth-filling; Brut metodo Classico and Extra Brut metodo classico Millésimé: a pinot noir and chardonnay blend.
