A SETTING THAT EVOKES
THE LANGHE AREA

Winery wine shop

Damilano wine shop is The Place where you can buy wines of historic Grand Cru MGA like Cannubi, Cerequio, Brunate, Liste and Raviole. The set-up portrays the natural expression of the surrounding environment while respecting the Langhe standards and its excellence. Indeed, starting from the entrance, the reference to archetypal forms is quite clear: the stratification of the soil and the orientation of the vines rows, are recalled by the inclined shelving and the steel cables that decorate the entrance door. The room is covered “box-like” with oak staves. Three different areas were identified: a counter at the back for information and purchases, a raised table with stools for “informal” tastings and a round marble white table with transparent chairs for “formal and ritual” tastings.

The raw materials used for the interior furnishings are wood from the cellar, naturally antiqued iron and soil-colored resin (recalling the clods of a freshly plowed field) for a deliberately modern room, embellished with teardrop chandeliers that evoke the atmosphere of the ancient ballrooms.

Monday to Friday 8:30am – 12:30pm and 2:30pm – 6:00pm
Weekend and Holidays 10am – 6pm

Restaurant

Since September 2013, the winery has hosted within its building one of the most famous Piedmontese restaurants: Massimo Camia, managed by its patron Chef after which the restaurant is named, alongside his wife Luciana. Chef Massimo Camia is an undisputed talent of haute cuisine recognized both in Italy and abroad. The elegant restaurant, located on the first floor of the winery, is well-lit thanks to its large windows overlooking the beautiful Langhe hills landscape, which frame the view making it look like a painting. Massimo Camia, Michelin Starred Chef since 2001, is often considered to be a Chef attached to tradition and territory, but in his menu there is always room for a dish reinterpreted in a personal and very innovative way.
